IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Technology (NON LASER)
IPL is a new (non-laser) technology which involves the application of non-coherent broadened pulsed light to the surface of the skin. It is multi-chromatic, which means it covers a wide range of wavelengths. The wavelength of the light chosen determines the depth of pulsed light penetration.
This together with the duration of each pulse will determine the effects that the light therapy will have on the skin.
Normally 3-5 treatments are recommended three to four weeks apart on the face, neck, decollete and hands.
What Results can be expected? + It will even out the skin tone and improve blotchy complexion + Helps to reverse the results of UV damage e.g. solar lentigos and telangiactasis + Enhances elasticity and helps to firm the skin + Treats enlarged pores + Softens wrinkles + Restores skins radiance + Improves acne scarring
